As your boots carry you along the winding cobblestone path, the hush of the forest wraps around you like a well-worn shawl. The air is cool and sweet beneath the ancient boughs, their leafy canopies swaying gently with a breeze that smells faintly of lavender, loam, and something stranger still- like forgotten dreams and midnight dew.Wood creaks softly in the distance, a sound not of menace but of the forest sighing in its sleep. Crickets trill their secrets, toads croon from hidden hollows, and birds sing sweet, unhurried notesThen, just beyond a curtain of wild ferns and swaying thistles, you glimpse it: nestled among ivy and shadow, a cottage appears as if coaxed from the forest floor itself. Its white stone walls and dark timber beams seem gently slouched with age, like an old friend resting after a long tale. Moss-laced vines curl lovingly across the thatched roof, blurring the line between cottage and canopy.Gables carved with swirling runes and floral sigils catch the dappled sunlight, and a stout chimney puffs now and then as if the house itself were a living thing no different than the trees. An unruly garden spills across the front- a tumble of herbs, glowing blossoms, and plump vegetables, all in cheerful, enchanted chaos.Stone steps, timeworn, lead to a half-wrapped porch adorned with overflowing flower boxes and chairs that look as though they’ve heard many a secret. The door, a faded bluebell color, bears a small, burnished brass plate etched with elegant script: Bluebell Collections.Around the side, a mossy path of meandering flagstones leads to a snug little wagon house where a black chocobo naps lazily in a sun-drenched paddock; feathers gently ruffled by the wind, one eye half-open as if to make sure you’re not up to anything too curious.There’s a stillness here, but not the kind that suggests silence. Rather, it’s the pause before a page turns. The hush before the magic begins. Will you venture inside?

East along the road headed towards Quarrymill from Buscarron's Druthers, over the bridge, tucked deep into the thick forests. (No plot location)✺ Balance
Everything about this shop seems in line with Elemental Law. Every plant naturally present to the Wood, or otherwise blessed and cleansed (and contained!), and things kept wild and natural. Nothing more than what is needed is taken, nothing more is asked.✺ Seasonal and Story
Avianne is most often at her shop during the summer months, though stops when she's close by are inevitable if the story draws her closer. As she is a 'travel by foot' character, most of the time when she's not there, she's simply not there!✺ Guarded
When the shop is without its keeper, a group of guards can be seen watching over the place. It also seems to receive regular visits from adventurers and members of the Botanist Guild. Soldiers have even been seen checking in now and again. Perhaps the owner is in good with the community? Perhaps there's more going on?

Tucked just off the winding path — where the moss grows thick between the roots and wild violets bloom without asking — sits a wagon unlike any you’ve seen before. The massive destrier black chocobo that usually guides this wagon rests close by, one eye on you, and a whistle of warning (or greeting) meets you. The wagon rests peacefully beneath a willow's hush, nestled into the clearing like it belongs there.The wagon is a quaint, cobbled-together marvel of wood and whimsy — its painted panels a patchwork of forest hues, with curling vines of bluebells hand-painted across its sides. Little lanterns dangle from its awning, each one softly glowing with a light that never quite decides if it’s candle, firefly, or starlight.The air around it hums — not loudly, but with the quiet thrill of hidden things. Inside, one can spy crates, bags, and all manner of things which hide the truth within. Raw materials? Adventurer's clothes neatly packed away? Goldsmith's tools etched with arcanist symbols? Curiosity nibbles at your good sense. Hanging from the curved ribs of the canvas cover are herbs, colorful potion bottles that catch the sunlight like stained glass, and pouches of unknown contents. Oddments and wonders: glittering jars of crystaldust, half-sung spells in corked bottles, herbs that twitch ever so slightly, and charms that smell faintly of honey and rain.This is The Bluebell Wagon, come to call — a traveling trove of aetheric trinkets, thoughtful enchantments, and peculiar things that seem to find you rather than the other way around.You didn’t expect to see it here, of course.

Can be found traveling anywhere in The Black Shroud, Thanalan, and across the strait to Limsa Lominsa. Sometimes travels take her to Gyr Abania or areas of La Noscea but in Coerthas or Pagalthan, the wagon has never been seen.✺ Seasonal and Story
Avianne sticks to the Shroud in the summer and travels the main roads from Limsa Lominsa, through Thanalan, and to the Shop location in the South Shroud the rest of the year, but as a primarily 'on foot' traveler, her location is always dependent on the story.✺ Home on the Road
Home away from the Shop, Transportation, Customized Mobile Workshop, and Safe Treatment Station for the wounded found on the road or in the wilds. Who needs an inn room when everything you need can be found here and turned into a camp in the glories of nature? Custom Items
I'm always looking to spark inspiration and RP, so this little shop is designed to be a gateway into adventures. My character is always in need of something, be it from a merchant, a crafter, a toy maker, a bounty hunter, an archivist, or a good ol' adventurer. I enjoy leaning into other characters and crafting adventures that suit them and bring to life the individual you have created. It's also a way for me to be creative and sell useless items like 'Handbag of Disappearing Gil', which always seems to lose just enough gil that you can't pay for your drinks. Or on a more serious note, it's a way to get your character that item you've always wanted, just to add some flavor, or start/complete a character arc with some significance and 'physical' representation.The goal is to enrich story, create RP connections between multiple players, and create a more living, breathing world.The How To

I love a great thief storyline! I love rivals, be they new or established in the past! It adds so much life to a character, and it can be a very fun, engaging, and emotional journey in writing and themes. However, there has to be trust on both sides to make the most of it.
Let's have a conversation!Communication is not Negotiable!
Before we venture further, the first rule, and the everlasting rule in RP, is communication. More so when we start pitting characters against one another. Established power scales, abilities, interests, consequences, and above all else, a clean break between character and player are essential building blocks. If you intend to go down this route, expect conversations OOCly. The more involved the rival/theft storyline, the more communication there will be expected.Story, not Ego
I am here to tell and experience great stories. To do that, we must sacrifice a bit of our ego to best be able to find the amazing story potential that can be had. By nature, these topics put characters against one another, but that does not mean we are against one another! Story over ego, and it all loops back to Communication is not Negotiable.Consiquences
For every action....
If your character breaks the laws of the universe (be it written or implied law, customs or cultural, or aetherical), there should be consequences. That's part of the fun! If your character 'cannot' be caught, 'always' knows they are being followed, or the way out of some situation, or can simply blast their way through a wall of guards leaving naught but mist in their wake there's not a lot there to interact with and I will not be the best writer for you!
✺ Risk Level ✺
Depends on the situation!
Is the owner present or not? Are there guards or other travelers present? Did your character(s) do any recon work, or are they just going in blind?Risk level is also dependent on how involved you want the story to be. If it's inteneded as a little character flavor, then the risk level will be lower as the consiquences are also lower. However, if you want to be chased by the city guard, or worse, hunted by the owner herself, then the risk level will be much higher as the items taken will be of equally higher value!

To determine the value of the items taken, communication must be had up front before an event or storyline starts.Value is guided by the story flavor worked out ahead of time, the character/s choices, and, in some cases, rolling a 1d5.
Combat and Character Action
Rules around combat, character actions, and expectations are critical in all forms of RP once that point is reached. Everyone has to be aligned on these things. Personally, I prefer the random element that rolls can have on a scene. It creates the opportunity for creativity that might not have otherwise been present, and it also keeps things moving at a good pace during an event.Rolls and Roll Systems
I am most comfortable with roll combat outside of those who have been writing with me for some time. In my events, I will typically use a very simple roll system similar to a dueling roll, a high or low roll, or a threshold roll. From time to time, if the event chains are long enough, modifiers can be added in for more flavor, but I am happy to use others if I am given enough time to practice with them.Implied Character Abilities
I'm not going to make you roll for everything. If your character can do something, has proven that they can, or it's strongly implied that they can, I will rely on your best judgment of your character and ask questions if I feel the need. On the other hand, if there is something in the story that, regardless of character skill or ability, has a chance at a different outcome than the expected, a roll may still be asked. It may also be asked at seemingly random intervals that have everything to do with the behind-the-scenes work as the host.Freeform Combat via Emote

Kill everyone in a place instead of sneaking in? Cast fireball in a distillery producing some of the most nose-curling alcohol? Disciples of the Land are called upon to gather from the bounty of the star while maintaining the delicate balance.OOC Information: Usually non-combat related tasks that explore the natural world of Eorzea. Often, a rather one-sided RP Experience with the DM acting as the environment for the characters involved. More dangerous places will often involve enemies and a potential for combat- or hidding untl the threat is gone.

Disciples of War & Magic are called upon to hunt and cull, protect and guard.OOC Information: Action-based tasks that can involve just about any other task, or can be linked to them. These are usually non-combat related tasks that explore the nuance and depth of the crafters' arts as they provide items that are needed. Sometimes Fieldcraft leves need to be completed before these can begin!

Charity, Benevolence, and Munificence: Volunteers are asked to serve where there is no reward.
